Job Title: Senior Actuary

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuary to provide complex actuarial and pricing analyses to our existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own, build, support, and maintain financial and complex actuarial models.
  2. Lead, perform, and review data analyses, reporting, and projections.
  3. Lead, perform, and review complex ad hoc pharmacy data mining and analyses to help investigate and answer challenging questions regarding actuarial data and concepts.
  4. Collaborate with Underwriters, other areas of Prime, and senior leaders on pricing initiatives, data analyses, and the RFP process.
  5. Present results and analyses to key stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
  6. Mentor Actuarial team members to enhance actuarial knowledge.
  7. Ensure work is consistent with actuarial standards, as applicable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance.
  • 5 years of actuarial work experience to include 3 years in a healthcare organization or PBM.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of actuarial work experience in a healthcare organization or PBM.
  • Previous experience pricing Commercial, Medicare or Medicaid lines of businesses.
  • 3 years of experience in SAS, SQL, or VBA.
  • Previous experience building and/or improving actuarial models or processes.
