Job Description:
The Autonomy org at Rivian is looking for a Sr Software Engineer, ML Applications to join the Data team. This role involves developing large-scale applications using cloud services technologies, AWS resources, and UI frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build user-friendly, immersive, reactive applications. Drive new UX/UI ideas, communicate, and document them.
- Work with the Autonomy Cloud, Data, Perception, Deep Learning, and other Technology Partners to leverage best practices and reference architectures highlighting AWS Cloud Platform and ML Application development best practices.
- Develop Full stack web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and Web Frameworks (react). Build backend and RESTful APIs services with Go/Python and utilize databases like MongoDB for data storage.
- Deploy Fullstack web applications using CI/CD Pipelines, Git, Kubernetes, and AWS Technologies.
- Master's in computer science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience; or at least 7 years of industry experience.
- Experience leading the project, bringing products from proof of concept to production.
- 7+ yrs. of software engineering and full stack application development.
- 5+ yrs. with Javascript/Typescript, and Web Frameworks (preferably React).
- 5+ yrs. of experience in back-end languages with Python or Golang or nodejs.
- 3+ yrs. of experience in Databases like Mongodb, Postgres. NoSql experience is preferred.
- 2+ yrs. with CSS, cross-browser compatibility, and Design System.
- 2+ yrs. with mockup UX/UI ideas, communicate, and document them.
Estimated Salary Range: $162,800 - $203,500
