Pacu Technician

At Luminis Health, we are seeking a skilled Pacu Technician to join our team. As a Pacu Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in patient care data collection and unit-specific treatments as directed by staff nurses and in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Process written medical staff orders in accordance with established policy and procedure, ensuring accurate labeling of blood tubes and lab specimens.
- Document all care and treatment provided to patients, including vital signs, wound care, and Point of Care Testing.
- Transport medications and supplies as necessary, adhering to policy and procedure regarding medication security.
- Maintain adequate levels of supplies and equipment as defined by the unit, department, or initiative.
- One year of experience as a CNA in a surgical setting.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
As a Pacu Technician, you will be exposed to blood-borne pathogens and will be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
