Leading Educator for 4th Grade Students

Teach and inspire 4th grade students at the Diocese of Allentown. As a dedicated educator, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assigning and grading homework, managing classroom behavior, and communicating with families.

About the Role

This is a full-time contracted position working in a normal classroom setting. You will be expected to attend school-related events and work outside of regular hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of 4th grade students.
  • Assign and grade homework, projects, and assessments to track student progress.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment by supervising student behavior and enforcing school discipline procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with parents through parent-teacher conferences and other means.
  • Evaluate student performances, keep accurate records, and prepare progress reports and report cards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • PA teaching certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate and engage students in their learning.
  • A high level of energy, patience, and self-confidence.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
