Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Note: Employee will be required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Respiratory Therapist, you will conduct diagnostic evaluations and administer respiratory therapy interventions aimed at addressing patient needs related to the pulmonary system. This includes gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various diagnostic assessments.
- Achieve patient care objectives by performing pulmonary function assessments and collaborating with the medical team to evaluate results.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in patient medical records.
- Assemble, calibrate, and ensure the functionality of respiratory therapy equipment.
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Preferred prior experience in a clinical setting.
- Current BCLS Certification.
- Valid Iowa R.C.P. license obtained post-completion of the entry-level RRT examination from the NBRC.
- Engagement in the process of obtaining RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
