We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our team at Allan Myers. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our crew(s), project or plant team(s) in the planning, scheduling, execution, and controlling of site and heavy civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work plans and schedules for production
  • Perform laborer tasks as part of a crew, including pipe, excavation, site cleanup, painting, and maintenance
  • Interpret contract plans and specifications
  • Ensure that work performed meets specified requirements and production
  • Document projects through diary entries, photographs, video, inspections, requests for information, reports, and CMiC logs and journals
  • Develop, review, and process necessary submissions and track their status
  • Assist in negotiation, pricing, and purchasing of parts, materials, and labor
  • Manage and track fabrication, and delivery of required materials
  • Track quantities of work performed by the company and by subcontractor(s)
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related major
  • 0-2 years of engineering or construction experience
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Valid driver's license required
