- Demonstrate clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identify the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identify patient care problems, make interventions based on an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Assess patient status systematically and anticipate and respond to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Communicate clearly in all aspects of documentation.
- Practice universal precautions appropriately.
- May be required to perform point-of-care testing and may serve as a point-of-care trainer.
- Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS required by the end of the conditional period.
- ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads.
- ONC certification preferred.
- NIHSS certification required by 12/31/17 and within 6 months of hire.
