About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist - Hemodialysis to join our multidisciplinary team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. As a key member of our dialysis unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care to individuals undergoing hemodialysis treatment, focusing on physical assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Participate in patient education, developing and implementing individualized plans to promote self-care and independence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and refine treatment protocols, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • At least 6 months of experience in acute dialysis or related setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
