Job Summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Administer treatments and medications accurately and document patient information in electronic medical records.
  • Provide patient and family education, and advocate for patients' rights and needs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing or an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
  • Computer skills required for electronic medical records (EPIC).
