Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NEPA Environmental Project Manager to join our team at HNTB Corporation. As a key member of our environmental planning team, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their full lifecycle, including developing project scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents, participating in contract negotiations, and overseeing the delivery of project plans to successfully accomplish HNTB's 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction on every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents
  • Participate in contract negotiations and oversee project delivery
  • Manage project teams and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Lead all aspects of NEPA environmental document development, including CE's, EA's, and EIS's
  • Understand environmental policy, regulations, permits, and NEPA guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Engineering, Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field
  • 10 years relevant experience, including 2 years of successful project management
  • American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP), Registered Landscape Architect (RLA), Registered Architect (RA), Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) certifications preferred
