Real Estate Asset Management Associate

We are partnering with a leading alternative asset manager to expand their real estate asset management group. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to drive portfolio performance and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management & Analysis:
  • Assist in the management and oversight of a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to strategic objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to support asset-level decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess asset performance and identify opportunities for value enhancement.
  • Coordinate with property managers, leasing agents, and other third-party service providers to ensure the effective operation and management of assets.
Data Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain robust data analytics processes to monitor and evaluate portfolio performance.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights into portfolio performance.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions and improve asset management practices.
Investor Performance Reporting:
  • Prepare comprehensive investor performance reports, including quarterly and annual reports, detailing asset performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all investor communications and reporting materials.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting and performance metrics.
  • Address investor inquiries and provide detailed explanations and insights into asset and portfolio performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in real estate asset management, real estate valuations, real estate transaction advisory, or real estate IB M&A.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to investors and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
