We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Audit Manager to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As an Insurance Audit Manager, you will play a key role in providing assurance services to our clients, bringing credibility to their financial picture, and communicating information objectively and clearly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and perform audit engagement procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong client service relationships, utilizing firm resources to provide exceptional client service.
  • Utilize technology tools proficiently in regular assignments and demonstrate a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology.
  • Recognize problems and propose sensible solutions, balancing client needs and the firm's risk.
  • Meet assigned deadlines or budgets and provide advance warning of any variances.
  • Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional staff.
  • Participate in board and audit committee meetings presentations.
  • Build personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Advanced analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to travel to serve clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain professional client relationships.
  • A high level of knowledge of current audit and accounting concepts.
  • A desire to provide mentorship and training to other professionals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or another related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant audit experience.
  • CPA license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Insurance industry experience.
