Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our Assurance team in RSM US LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing teams, and providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities- Lead audit engagements for public and private companies, including financial statement audits and other assurance services.
- Manage and develop a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure high-quality work and career growth.
- Develop and implement audit strategies, including risk assessment and audit planning.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored audit services.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and client service.
- Contribute to the development of RSM's audit methodology and quality control procedures.
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or equivalent degree.
- CPA or CA certification.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and FASB regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Experience auditing life sciences companies and related organizations.
- Successful record of directing and deploying staff and senior associates on multiple, simultaneous engagements.
- Understanding of SEC and PCAOB regulations.
