Job Title: Host - Velocity Wings

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host to join our team at Velocity Wings. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, creating a positive first impression by greeting guests, managing reservations, and seating them promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression.
• Manage reservations and waiting lists, ensuring efficient seating of guests.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service.
• Handle guest inquiries, providing information about the restaurant and menu options.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area.

Requirements:

• Experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• At least 18 years of age (unless permitted by law).
• High energy and stamina. Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day preferred.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
