Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Augusta, with travel required to Central and Southern Maine areas. This per diem position involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting CPAP/BiPAP machines, mask fittings, and providing education for patient clients.

Responsibilities: As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring therapy aligns with physician orders, consulting with physicians as needed, and interpreting physician diagnoses to fit PAP patients with appropriate masks. Additionally, they will maintain electronic medical records for accurate documentation and troubleshoot/resolution of respiratory equipment issues for optimal results.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an AMA-approved respiratory care training program and be certified/registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed as RRT or CRT in the State of Maine. A minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in home care or a hospital setting is also required.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, based on industry standards and location.
