Job Title: Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team at Raft Company Website. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Work on a range of technologies, including cloud-based systems, big data frameworks, and enterprise software platforms
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry
Requirements:
  • Three plus years' experience as a software engineer
  • Experience with C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, React & Angular
  • Experience in one or more Big Data/Cloud/Enterprise Frameworks, like Play, Spring Boot or Quarkus
  • Experience with web-socket and RESTFul APIs
  • Familiarity with SW design and architecture patterns
  • Proficient with cloud-related software technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes
  • Proactive and self-motivated team player
  • Demonstrated working knowledge & experience in the following areas: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, GitLab, network engineering, AWS Cloud
  • Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Certifications: SAFe for Teams Certification, & AWS certifications (Associate Developer, & AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date) or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:
  • Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO
  • May require up to 10% travel
Salary Range:
  • $90,000 - $170,000
  • The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
