Role Overview:
This full-time position entails 195 days of service, with an 8-hour workday during the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in site-level and district-level meetings, as well as participate in professional development and training relevant to the role.
- Contribute to the School Improvement Planning (SIP) Team, Response to Intervention (RIT) team, and Cultural Responsive Teaching (CRT) Team.
- Actively participate in school events, including Student-Family-Teacher Conferences, WEB, and various Arts and Academic Celebrations.
- Maintain a visible presence during non-instructional times, such as in the cafeteria during meals, hallways before and after school, and during class transitions and recess.
- Collaborate with the district's CRT Support Team and meet with the administrative team or principal as necessary.
- Develop and oversee peer leadership initiatives at both the site and district levels.
- Monitor and analyze data related to School Improvement Planning (SIP) Goals.
- Serve as a liaison for students and families of color, facilitating communication between home and school.
- Assist new students in their transition and refer families to appropriate personnel for additional support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling 12 years.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, staff, administration, and the community.
- Proficiency in a language other than English is preferred.
- Commitment to regular attendance and the ability to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and participate in job-related training.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform job functions on-site.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $40,283; with a Bachelor's degree: $42,281; with a Master's degree: $44,844.
