The Groundskeeper position involves various responsibilities aimed at maintaining the community:

  • Daily cleaning and upkeep of property grounds
  • Removal of trash and debris from communal areas
  • Maintenance of barbeque grills, if applicable
  • Cleaning and upkeep of pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture maintenance
  • Care for mail and laundry rooms, if applicable
  • Support in maintaining the maintenance shop by organizing tools and supplies
  • Assistance in preparing vacant apartments, including tasks such as painting, changing locks, replacing light bulbs, and more
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned
  • Maintaining open communication with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Experience in grounds and pool maintenance
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Capability to lift and operate heavy equipment
  • Physical stamina for medium to heavy work, including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, including the ability to use ladders and perform repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to work a 40-hour week
