Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join a leading data and cloud computing corporation.

This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the corporation's cloud infrastructure migration, ensuring seamless transitions between cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation, including modules, state management, and remote backends.

Additionally, they will collaborate with development, operations, network, and security teams to align infrastructure management with application requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure management aligns with application requirements
  • Providing expertise on AWS services and cloud automation

Required skills and experience include:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
  • 5+ years of experience in Terraform with proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation, including modules, state management, and remote backends

Nice to have skills and experience include:

  • Experience with Go
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with branching and merging strategies

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
