Procurement Manager for Aviation Maintenance and Repair

This is a leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing assigned procurement activities for FEAM, the MRO leader in aircraft line maintenance engineering in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead procurement activities to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory controls, company policies, and best practices.
- Direct purchasing activity to ensure requisitions are actioned timely, efficiently, in conformance with contracts, and in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of requisitioned materials and services.
- Analyze market intelligence to identify key trends and refine managed category structure and purchasing activities as necessary to deliver ongoing procurement effectiveness.
- Manage administration of supplier contracts including contract files and data management.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and service level performance.
- Employ risk mitigation techniques related to procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers and stakeholders to develop requirements, statements of work, requests for quotes, and requests for proposals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related area.
- 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or related roles, preferably with a focus in aviation.
- Record of achievement in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Must possess strong business acumen and a highly professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong ability to influence positive outcomes.
- Excellent negotiation skills, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to accuracy.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in business system and tools, including ERP systems and e-procurement platforms.
