Addictions Counselor Position

LifeBridge Health is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we are seeking a skilled Addictions Counselor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance abuse counseling and a passion for working with individuals struggling with addiction. As an Addictions Counselor, you will work closely with our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team to provide case management, rehabilitative, individual, and group services to clients with dual diagnoses.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in their recovery journey
- Establishing rapport with clients and implementing clinical interventions to address their unique needs
- Engaging in crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records for assigned caseloads
We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of theories, principles, and concepts related to addiction and mental health. A Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field is required, and CSC-AD or CAC-AD certification is preferred.
