Respiratory Care Specialist

As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll play a critical role in providing direct patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Perform respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy, according to physician orders.
- Consult with physicians to discuss the effectiveness of therapy and make recommendations for improvement.
- Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Education: Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and meets state licensure requirements.
- Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). PALS certification is required for those working in the Emergency Room.
- Other: Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, as well as kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally.
We prefer candidates with critical care experience, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
