Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Virginia Department of Corrections. As a Correctional Healthcare Professional, you will provide high-quality patient care to inmates in a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to inmates, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program
- Valid unrestricted Virginia RN license or multi-state compact license
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a corrections or law enforcement environment
