ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES SUPERVISOR I

The Department of State Hospitals is inviting applications for a Full-time/Permanent Administrative Services Supervisor I role, as we anticipate an opening. This position oversees a team of professional, technical, supervisory, and clerical personnel in executing the comprehensive range of services within the department, including: Mailroom Operations, Asset Management, Apparel and Linen Services, Inventory Management, Custodial Services, Vehicle Maintenance, and Logistics, as well as Procurement and Contract Management. The selected candidate will provide specialized knowledge in all aspects of administrative services. This role involves collaboration with the Director of Administrative Services to establish general policies and procedures, with a particular focus on the operational services components of the department. Key attributes sought include proficiency in budget planning, staff management, experience in procurement and contracts, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively.
