About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Manager/Engineer to join our team at Leidos Inc. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our data center operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define processes and standards that govern data center activities, ensuring seamless integration with our Agile framework.

  • Monitor and Report

Track and report data center resource consumption, including power, cooling, and rack space, to ensure optimal utilization and minimize waste.

  • Coordinate and Control

Manage access and logistic support, ensuring that all stakeholders have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.

  • Communicate and Maintain

Communicate maintenance intervals to affected stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation of data center procedures and processes.

  • Ensure Compliance

Ensure compliance with data center security protocols, and prepare reports on data center operations to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements
  • Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in data center management, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and Agile methodologies.

  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or engineering.

  • Certifications

Data Center Management Certification a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills

Experience with SAN or network storage setup and administration, as well as familiarity with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) concepts and solutions.

  • Security Clearance

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or TS/SCI with willingness to get a poly.
