Job Description:
Inovar Packaging seeks a Production Assistant - Press to join our team. This role supports the press operator in setting up, converting, and maintaining presses.

Responsibilities:
- Read work orders or receive verbal instructions to assure accurate setup and conversion.
- Communicate with the press operator to determine proper setup and cleanup procedures are being followed.
- Perform roll changes in a safe and efficient manner, verifying material specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping of the entire work area, including proper care and handling of all tooling, anilox's, and print cylinders.
- Assist the press operator with other required steps of the setup or converting process, which may involve stacking, boxing, and cleaning.
- Complete data entry accurately and consistently.
- Maintain press-side supply levels, replenishing daily to ensure sufficient quantities are available.

Requirements:
- Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler.
- Must be able to view and match color.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
