Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Residential Manager is a key member of the Crossroads Inc. team, responsible for supporting the Program Coordinator and Assistant Program Coordinator in maintaining facility operations during all operating hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe, private, clean, and healthy living environment for residents.
  • Conduct regular room inspections, facility inspections, and report findings through verbal and written documentation.
  • Handle new client intakes, including property searches, heat treatment of clothing and rooms, and mentor assignments.
  • Perform and document breathalyzer and urinalysis testing, as necessary.
  • Assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications.
  • Participate in required staff meetings, oversights, and drills, including clinical and operational oversight, as well as fire drills and disaster plans.
  • Chaperone clients to offsite appointments.
  • May be required to cover additional shifts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Meet Arizona Department of Health Services personnel member requirements, including being at least 21 years old or licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member's scope of practice.
  • Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training.
  • Current and annual negative TB Test.
  • Current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check performed annually and upon hire, preferred.
  • Successfully pass a background check and an Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of the 12-step program.
  • Knowledge of Computer/Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and mentor others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced behavioral health residential setting.
  • Primarily indoors, with some outdoor work requested, including during adverse weather conditions.
  • Compensation: section 3(m) of the Fair Labor Standards Act permits an employer, under certain conditions, to count as wages, the reasonable cost of furnishing a caregiver employee with board, lodging, or other facilities toward its minimum wage obligations.
Physical Demands
  • While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and speak or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and seldom lift and/or move >100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Shift Requirements
  • Morning, evenings, overnights, holidays, weekdays, and weekends.
Travel
  • Valid AZ Driver's License.
  • May include travel between sites and other locations.
  • Local and statewide travel when requested or required.
