Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for performing detailed financial analysis to help define and understand monthly variances to budget and the EAC position.
Responsibilities- Support the EAC (Estimate at Complete), Earned Value and Budget Change Requests (BCR) processes, as well as Budget Sign Up during program startup and Baseline activities as new scope is awarded
- Support approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and ensures all changes are incorporated into control systems
- Preparation and presenting of Earned Value (EV) financial data for Monthly Operating Reviews, Financial Reviews etc.
- Program control including understanding and interpreting monthly variance analysis, billing
- Support program offset projects
- Support Ad Hoc Tasks & Analysis as required
- Provide meaningful business insight and analysis, and will communicate effectively with all partners
- Typically requires 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with SAP accounting system / Standard Business Warehouse reports and/or similar reports
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Goal-oriented individual who enjoys working in a Team structure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload
- Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, cross-functional teammates & all levels of leadership
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with current Raytheon financial tools/systems: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX), Program Management Excellence (PMX) Tool Suite

We offer a competitive salary range of $64,000 - $128,000, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
