About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director, Data Science to join our Retail Consumer Analytics team at CVS Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytic solutions using AI/ML and cloud capabilities. Your expertise will drive revenue and customer satisfaction in CVS Health's Front Store business by enhancing merchandising and category promotion decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced analytic solutions using AI/ML and cloud capabilities.
• Lead a team of data scientists to achieve modeling goals, bring the best of the industry, and inspire innovation and efficient execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Personalization, Merchandising, and Finance, to understand business objectives and align promotional strategies with organizational goals.
• Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner and provide actionable recommendations for improving promotional strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in developing standard and advanced ML modeling techniques.
• 5+ years of coding in SQL, Python or similar.
• 5+ years of experience of end-to-end model development from ideation through solutions development and deployment/monitoring.
• 3+ years leading a team either directly or indirectly.

Salary Range

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00 per annum.

Location

Wellesley, MA, NYC area, or in the northeast with monthly site travel.

Education

• Advanced degree in any quantitative field is required.
