CADD Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled CADD Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will coordinate work assignments, maintain standards and processes, and train and mentor our Ohio CADD team.

• Maintain documentation of Ohio client CADD standards.
• Mentor and train staff to use those standards and the design software (Civil 3d and OpenRoads).
• Manage CADD staff through goal setting, task assignment, reviews, and salary recommendations.
• Be a productive part of the drafting and design team, maintaining a 70% utilization rate.
• Review completed tasks from other designers to maintain quality.
• Participate in long-term planning with the Director of CADD to facilitate group growth and excellence.
• Communicate with the project team throughout the process.
• Demonstrate strong project organization skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3d including Profiles, Corridors, Pipe Networks, Grading, and plan production.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assist with software issues.
• Must be organized and able to communicate effectively to build and motivate the team.
• Knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads is a must.
• Should be technically savvy and able to stay current on design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
