CADD Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled CADD Manager to join our Ohio team. As a key member of our CAD group, you will be responsible for coordinating work assignments, maintaining standards and processes, and mentoring our team of drafters and designers.

• Maintain documentation of Ohio client CADD standards and ensure adherence to these standards.
• Mentor and train staff to use CADD standards and design software, including Civil 3d and OpenRoads.
• Manage CADD staff through goal setting, task assignment, reviews, and salary recommendations.
• Be a productive part of the drafting and design team, maintaining a 70% utilization rate.
• Review completed tasks from other designers to maintain quality and consistency.
• Participate in long-term planning with the Director of CADD to facilitate group growth and excellence.
• Communicate effectively with the project team throughout the process.

• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3d, including Profiles, Corridors, Pipe Networks, Grading, and plan production.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assist with software issues and technical support.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to build and motivate the team.
• Knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads is a must.
• Ability to stay current on design software and technical advancements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
