We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at North Star Behavioral Health, a leading provider of behavioral health services in Alaska.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to child and adolescent patients in our residential treatment center. Your responsibilities will include performing initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to child and adolescent patients
  • Lead treatment teams and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • NP degree from an accredited program
  • PMHNP certification
  • Licensed to practice in the State of AK or ability to obtain an AK medical license
  • Meets all credentialing criteria required
