Key Responsibilities- Provide general first-aid to injured students and administer medications as designated by the building principal
- Conduct vision screenings and provide in-service training on severe allergies and diabetes
- Collaborate with administrators on in-school policy and procedures, and maintain student health records
- Attend health services educational in-service and nurse's meetings, and participate in case conferences on students with health care plans
- Perform daily procedures as directed by physician or supervising nurse, and verify that immunization records are current with state requirements
- Be licensed by the state of Indiana as a Registered Nurse
