As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Unity Health Toronto, you will be part of a strong team environment that fosters diversity and learning. We are seeking X-ray Technologists to join our team and contribute to high-quality X-ray services that meet the needs of our referring physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prioritize scheduling of procedures, communicate verbally with personnel regarding procedure types, lab results, equipment failures, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform all technologist responsibilities to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
  • Consult with radiologists, nursing units, and departmental nurses regarding patient needs.
  • Assist in inventory control, including ordering and restocking of supplies.
  • Ensure safe, appropriate, timely, and high-quality care, maximizing the potential of available equipment and resources.
  • Share knowledge and expertise collaboratively with healthcare team members, promoting an inclusive environment.
  • Participate in quality control, assurance, and improvement programs.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
  • Current registration with CAMRT and OAMRS an asset.
  • Cross-sectional anatomy courses an asset.
  • Understanding and commitment to the Hospital's Mission and Values.
  • Ability to meet patient, family, and staff needs efficiently.
  • Flexibility, punctuality, and satisfactory attendance record.
