Job Description: Recreational Games Coordinator

i9 Sports is seeking a friendly and organized Recreational Games Coordinator to join our team in Honolulu, HI.

About the Job

This role is responsible for ensuring a fun, learning, and safe experience for all players. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, sport-specific knowledge, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce rules and maintain a fair game environment
  • Teach sportsmanship values and core concepts to players
  • Manage game time and scorekeeping, providing age-appropriate instruction and competition
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
  • Prepare and set up fields
  • Transport equipment to and from the field

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Sport-specific officiating or playing experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
  • Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
  • Ability to work weekends (approximately 7 weeks)
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check

Estimated Annual Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
