Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in our long-term care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as feeding, transferring, and ambulating
  • Collect vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns to the charge nurse
  • Participate in departmental committees and task forces as needed

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing
