Reliability Engineer - Product Development

At Apple, we're committed to delivering exceptional products that exceed our customers' expectations. As a Reliability Engineer - Product Development, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks in product design and development.
  • Develop and implement reliability testing strategies to ensure products meet Apple's high standards.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and reduce defects.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations to enhance product reliability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, with a focus on product development.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical stress testing, environmental testing, and failure analysis techniques.
  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar).
  • Preferred qualifications: MS/PhD in Engineering, knowledge of reliability models and industry test standards.
