Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Air Export Agent to join our team in the logistics industry. As an Air Export Agent, you will be responsible for providing clients with efficient, reliable, and cost-effective air freight solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with shippers, carriers, and other logistics providers to ensure smooth and timely export of air cargo shipments from origin to destination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and key suppliers.
- Respond to external and internal client inquiries.
- Prepare documents necessary to complete export, import, and customs clearance processes.
- Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
- Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting client requirements.
- Consult customers on ways to reduce costs and maximize profitability.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in air freight international export.
- Experience coordinating and managing all aspects of air export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Experience booking cargo space with airlines, negotiating rates, and arranging for transportation to the airport.
- Experience collaborating with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance processes.
- Experience shipping Hazardous Materials.
