Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Loma de Vida Spa & Wellness. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, offering a range of touch modalities and body treatments. Your expertise and enthusiasm will help create distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all massage services, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal massages, following established protocols and treatment times.
  • Understand and respond to guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide personalized guest service while maintaining an enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
  • Conserve and monitor supplies and assets of the spa.
  • Complete shift checklists daily, replenishing supplies, cleaning equipment, and re-stocking laundry.
  • Attend all scheduled treatment and product knowledge training sessions.
  • Set and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Assist in the training of other team members as directed.
  • Assist with special projects, events, and promotions as needed.
  • Promote spa services and products throughout the property.
  • Use available time to help with spa operations as requested.
  • Recommend additional treatments to guests as appropriate.
  • Suggest in written format home care products and treatments as appropriate.
  • Represent the Loma de Vida Spa and La Cantera Resort in a positive and professional manner as requested.
  • Continually market the spa internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain the safety of work areas.
  • Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate in English is required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in a luxury spa setting.
  • Minimum of 750 hours of massage certification.
  • Proficient in at least three additional specialty modalities, including Hot Stone and Salt Stone massages, and Sports massage.
  • Current TDLR license.
