Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Nurse Manager to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivered, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal skills.
