Nursing Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Pennybyrn, a resident-centered retirement community in High Point, NC. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between $59,000 - $68,000, depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, excellent medical insurance, free dental insurance, and a retirement plan with employer matching.
About the RoleThe Charge Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans within skilled nursing or short-term stay households. You will promote and model person-directed care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
- A current license as a nurse in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Previous experience working with geriatric residents preferred
- Good physical and mental health
