Job Overview

The South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront is seeking a dedicated individual with a positive attitude to fulfill the role of a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a spotless kitchen environment by effectively washing and organizing soiled dishes, while also preparing food items as necessary. Maintain an orderly and clutter-free dish area.
  • Set up dishwashing stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
  • Keep floors clean and dry throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Thoroughly wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
  • Regularly change the water in machines and sinks.
  • Assist with the prompt storage of food deliveries.
  • Manage trash receptacles during the shift and ensure full trash cans and boxes are removed at the end of each shift.
  • Oversee the organization of the dry storage area and maintain the orderliness of storage shelves.
  • Adhere to the established daily dish cleaning responsibilities.
  • Support other tasks as assigned by the kitchen supervisor as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-driven with a high level of energy.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
