Position: General Utility / Dishwasher

Role Overview: Become an essential part of our team by ensuring efficient service and coordination. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. You will also assist in food preparation and receive cross-training in various kitchen department roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrape and pre-rinse dirty dishes before loading them into the dishwashing machine (50%).
  • Hand wash pots, pans, and trays as necessary (15%).
  • Prepare designated ingredients and complete assigned prep tasks (10%).
  • Manage trash disposal to the designated area (10%).
  • Clean work surfaces, cooking equipment, and uphold overall kitchen hygiene (5%).
  • Oversee dish machine assembly and maintenance (5%).
Qualifications:
  • Strong desire for personal and professional development.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all circumstances.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
  • Skill in organizing kitchen items at various heights.
  • Comfortable working indoors (90%) and outdoors (10%).
  • Ability to adapt to a warm and humid kitchen environment.
  • Quick response in emergencies to ensure safety.
Physical Demands:

This position involves specific physical requirements. You should be able to navigate the restaurant, interact with guests, handle items, and maintain cleanliness.
