Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in supervising and leading internal project teams to develop Construction Documents for site development.
  • Ability to work independently on complex technical assignments.

  • Execute work in alignment with agreed budgets and timelines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software such as Hydro CAD and Storm CAD.
  • Familiarity with Windows, MS Office, and Google Apps.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consulting services to both internal and external clients, utilizing Civil/Site Engineering expertise, including site grading analysis, drainage design, utility layout, and erosion control design.
  • Lead a project team comprising junior and experienced engineers to achieve project design deliverables.
  • Oversee the development of design calculations and drawings from preliminary to final stages.
  • Conduct site due diligence and entitlement investigations, providing comprehensive reporting.
  • Review field data and perform inspections of existing stormwater facilities.
  • Engage in technical writing for design reports and permitting applications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and various Civil Engineering design software applications effectively.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Expertise in Site Grading, Earthwork Calculations, Road Design, Drainage, Utility Layout, Technical Report Writing, and cost estimation.
  • Experience in Construction Documentation for State, Federal, and Private projects.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. Government.
