Monarch Hotel is in search of a dependable and service-oriented Shuttle Bus Driver. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of transporting guests and staff between various points within our hotel, ensuring a high level of service while maintaining a secure and pleasant atmosphere.
This is a full-time, hourly role within our vibrant and fast-paced establishment.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19, with biweekly payments. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a shuttle bus to transport guests and employees to designated locations within the hotel.
- Welcome guests and assist with the loading and unloading of luggage and personal items.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, providing information, and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and follow designated routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shuttle bus at all times, both inside and outside.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks of the shuttle bus, reporting any concerns or required repairs to management.
- Keep accurate records of pickup and drop-off times, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Follow emergency protocols and procedures in case of accidents or unforeseen events.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operation of the shuttle service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a shuttle bus driver or in a related customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with the local area.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
