Lead Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at i4 Search Group. As a Lead Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering life-support, resuscitation, and medical gases therapy to patients. You will work under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessment, care-planning, and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Deliver life-support, resuscitation, and medical gases therapy to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees as needed.
- Document all aspects of patient care.
- Delegate aspects of patient care to support staff and provide necessary communication and guidance.
- Attend and actively contribute to daily bedside rounds.
- Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and demonstrate proficiency in various Departmental subspecialties.
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
- Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy preferred, Associate of Science Degree, minimum.
- Recent graduate of a Respiratory Therapy school or two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience in a Tertiary Hospital.
- Associates degree. Graduate of an accredited (by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, (CAAHEP). Respiratory Therapist Educational Program with an Associate Degree.
- Current Respiratory Therapist License from the State of practice.
- Successful completion of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC registration examination requirements).
- Registered respiratory therapist (RRT) credentials.
- BLS card from AHA required before start date (valid at least 60 days beyond start date).
