Position Summary:
The Healthcare Services Coordinator serves as a vital link in the coordination of medical care, providing essential support to patients and psychiatric professionals while ensuring exceptional service to both in-person and remote clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence:
    Foster a positive workplace culture and engage in activities that enhance team morale and connection.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing patient inquiries and managing challenging situations with care.
  • Facilitate effective communication among patients, clinicians, and support staff to enhance patient care and clinician satisfaction.

Patient Support:
  • Assist psychiatric professionals with various aspects of patient care, including prior authorizations, lab orders, and documentation requests.
  • Manage phone communications, addressing medication inquiries, refill requests, and appointment changes.
  • Ensure patient pharmacy information is accurately recorded and assist with telehealth access and troubleshooting.

Clinician Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to clinicians, including document preparation and coordination of patient inquiries.
  • Support clinicians during patient termination processes as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient multitasking and prioritization skills to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare operations or customer service is desirable.
