Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Della Infotech. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic exams and procedures in the Ultrasound department, working effectively with patients and physicians, and maintaining cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic exams and procedures in the Ultrasound department.
  • Work effectively with patients and physicians to ensure accurate and efficient care.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist physicians in performing radiology procedures as needed.
  • Organize workload during high volume to expedite patient care and communicate with other technologists as necessary.
  • Prepare for diagnostic testing by verifying physician orders, verifying patient identity, and communicating with nursing units as needed.
  • Thoroughly explain procedures to patients and answer questions to alleviate anxiety and prepare patients for testing.
  • Obtain the highest quality studies possible following department protocol for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain current BLS and ARDMS credentialing licensure status.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in Diagnostic Sonography.
  • Able to perform Breast Ultrasound, Breast Biopsy, Abdomen, Small Part, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and other Ultrasound Guided Procedures.
  • Experience with Philips Pacs and FUJI Pacs.
  • Experience with GE Logic E9 Machines.
  • Must have experience with all patient populations (Newborn - Geriatric).
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • MediTech experience highly preferred.
Certification Requirements
  • ARDMS certification.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Must be available to work weekends and one weeknight of call per week.
