Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a Renal Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional services to our patients with kidney disease, working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to maximize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient knowledge of diet and kidney disease, providing education and counseling to promote healthy eating habits and disease management.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal nutritional status and clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address malnutrition and other nutrition-related issues.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification, with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in clinical nutrition.
  • Previous experience in renal nutrition is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
