Job Responsibilities
  • Clinical Services
    • Provide counseling services to individuals and families using a faith-based approach.
  • Collaboration and Assessment
    • Work collaboratively with clients to identify and address emotional, psychological, and spiritual concerns.
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, beliefs, and needs.
  • Treatment Planning
    • Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate psychological techniques and Christian principles.
  • Client Support
    • Provide guidance and support on issues such as relationship difficulties, grief, anxiety, depression, and personal growth.
    • Offer spiritual guidance, prayer, and scripture-based insights during counseling sessions.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
    • Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
    • Stay updated on psychological research and Christian counseling practices.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure and Experience
    • State licensure as a counselor or therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) is required.
    • Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services, preferably with a focus on integrating Christian values.
  • Skills and Personal Qualities
    • Strong understanding of Christian theology, principles, and scriptures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Empathetic and non-biased approach to counseling.
    • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural setting.
    • Respect for client confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
